Earlier in the summer, they taught a workshop at The Arts Center. During the one week session, students created books using mixed media and found objects.

Charla and Joël also recently taught a workshop sponsored by the Salvador Dalí Museum. The students were members of the Youth Arts Corp, an organization that inspires young people to realize their unique potential through art education and a positive development philosophy. Workshop participants were asked to create sculptures in response to the Dalí Museum exhibition Forms of Cubism: Sculpture and the Avante-Garde 1909-1919. Their works were then exhibited and for sale at The Arts Center, with proceeds to benefit the St. Petersburg Free Clinic.
