Photoshop Photo "Collage"

I perfected my Photoshop photo editing techniques working for a startup using a 3D modeling technology that required me to edit hundreds of photos for surface textures, making sure disparate images blended seamlessly.

Using these Photoshop skills and my own creativity, I now create art. I can alter color, resize, reshape, and meld images together to create whatever illustrative or photo-real effects you need.

This poster is an example of different photos seamlessly blended and edited into something more than the sum of its parts. Various semi-transparent layers are employed and judicious painting and tinting effects are applied to create to create a mood that perfectly suited the play, reaching back in a way that is somehow both nostalgic and foreboding.

The dock and some of the water and was cut out from the first photo below. This was particularly difficult with the outlines of the hooks and their reflections in the water. The water blends subtly, appearing to go from shallow to deep.

After layering the two images, I augmented the colors of the sunrise, then used some of those colors to tint the dock so that the light appeared to be the correct color on the whole image.
