I am happily employed by Havard University, and am not seeking full time employment. I do still occasionally accept consulting gigs and small design projects. My availabilitiy depends on the scope of the project, and my current other commitments, which include some personal design projects.

More about me

I had a rewarding position acting as project and communications coordinator for Boston Playwrights’ Theatre. I was exposed to a wide range of clients and projects—from promoting the workshops of a Nobel Laureate professor, to writing a successful case file and grant, to designing advertisements, poster art and print marketing materials for individual artists’ works. I find it deeply satisfying to help define and execute communications projects using compelling wording, creative design, and intelligent marketing to effectively reach an audience.

I managed projects with minimal supervision, consistently improving our professional image and effectively coordinating a full production schedule. One of my more successful projects was redesigning our website, clarifying our program descriptions and increasing searchability, resulting in a 300% increase in graduate program applicants.

My editing skills are well-honed, with a degree in English, excellent proofing skills, and years of promotional and advertising writing. I excel in tightening up phrasing and coming up with compelling wording that gets to the heart of the message you wish to convey.

I have a solid background in development and events as well. I can lend a hand in donor relations, running reports, collecting statistical data, managing fundraising events, and grantwriting. I am particularly proud of helping to manage the Boston Theater Marathon charity event, and of writing a successful $10,000 grant for a new theatre marquee for Boston Playwrights' Theatre.
